Jean Mcintyre

After 13 years in the public service and 3 years delivering and selling training to the Government, Jean McIntyre decided on a career change.

She completed a Graduate Diploma in Marketing and went into business under licence to Marketing Angels as the Regional Director for Canberra.

Throughout her career Jean has developed and delivered training for call centres, government teams and small business.  In recent times she has taught Marketing and Management at Canberra Institute of Technology, has been an occasional presenter with Canberra Business Point on Marketing and delivered ANZ small business marketing seminars.

For Nurturing Nortons, Jean trains in Writing, Business Writing, Proposal Writing, and small business topics such as Marketing and Risk Management. She also helps clients seeking personal coaching in these areas.

Jean’s areas of expertise are: Marketing, Management, Small Business and Communications.  Jean is a university-qualified, published writer.

Jean has many roles in business and community groups: Business Tuggeranong, Capital Region BEC (Board Member), Tandem Respite Inc. (Board Member), ACT Regional Development Committee (Member),  Australian Marketing Institute, and the Exhibition Park in Canberra Corporation.  She helps on a voluntary basis with Lifeline, Snowy Hydro Southcare and Raise the Gong Cancer Charity.

In 2007 Jean mentored a Young Achievement Award group at ANU which went on to win ‘National Company of the Year’.
